The New Look Lightning
Last year, new Tampa Bay Lightning GM, Steve Yserman reintroduced a winning mentality to the hockey fans of Tampa Bay. The Lightning won 46 games and racked in 103 points, 8th best in the league. This year the Bolts got a new logo, new uniforms, and a new motto, (Be The Thunder), to go along with a renovated the St. Pete Times Forum.
The renovations were announced to cost $35 billion dollars from private funds. The renovation was aimed to improve the experience for players, employees, and fans. The biggest addition was a 11,000 square foot outdoor deck overlooking downtown Tampa. Another huge addition was a hockey organ, which most teams, famously the Boston Bruins already have. Perhaps the coolest addition is the 25 foot lightning bolts that shoot from two Tesla coils. The Lightning this season, are 3rd in there Southeast division and 7th. Its amazing how much you can accomplish with just a little thunder.

New York Yankees Top 5 Prospects
New York Yankees Top 5 Prospects
1. Jesus Montero
Montero came up last year toward the end of the season and batted .349 with 4 Hrs, 12 RBIs, 7 Bbs and 17 Ks. I think he definitely be given a chance to compete for the starting catcher job in 2012. He has tons of upside.
2. Dellin Betances
Betances also pitched in the MLB last yr and K’d 2 batters, with a 6.75 ERA. He can and will be good in the upcoming years when he gets more experience against actual MLB batters.
3. Austin Romine
Romine has a lot of upside but I don’t know when Austin Romine will get to play in the MLB because the New York Yankees have a lot of catchers.
4. Manuel Banuelos
Banuelos had good Spring Training numbers in 2011, but he never actually made it to the Majors during the regular season. He has tons of upside and I project him to be a 2 or 3 starter in the MLB sometime in the future.
5.Andrew Brackman
Brackman pitched in the majors last year with a 1.71 WHIP and only allowed 1 H and 0 ER. He pitched a total of 2.1 Innings. I do think he will get in the majors in 2012 or 2013.
